Kershaw G10 Spec Bump?

Does anyone have experience with/comments about the Kershaw Spec Bump in G10 and 8cr? I found it on a major online retailer yesterday, and as far as I knew these were discontinued a long time ago. Is this a limited production run, or a special for that retailer? Has anyone picked one up? I'm not posting a link cause that's deal spotting, but I bet if you Google the knife you can find it pretty quick.

As far as I know they never made one with 8cr. MOst likely a fake. Spec Bumps came in S30V and 154CM I think.

All of the new ones are 8cr and made in China. They are a Amazon exclusive.

They're real, amazon got a large run of made in china 8cr13mov ones manny months ago. I haven't gotten one, but the quality is supposed to be good.

I have the China and the USA version and the China version isn't bad. Fit and finish aren't quite as good as the USA version but it's dead centered, came very sharp and fires as hard as any of my other Bumps. If stud locks and recurves float your boat I think it's a bargain.

Dang, that's a shame. I used to own one of the USA made versions and it was great.

I have one of the 8cr versions. It's well made. The two things that I notice that make it different from the USA version are a slightly different texture to the G-10, and the blade appears to have a coating of some type. The Stud Lock works perfectly.

Its not a 1596 spec bump though, they are 1595 speed bumps. The spec bumps have not been redone.
