Bought this knife a few years ago and had almost forgot about it. Comes with a leather sheath that has a clip and the knife fits perfect. This is one of my fav. knives. Linen micarta handle ,brass liner, great snap and hardly any blade play. The edge is perfect. Me and this knife have a long future together.

Very nice -- thanks for the photos.

Do you ever pocket carry it? I ask because one of the BF dealers is selling those both with and without the leather sheath.

This is one of the knives on my 'to-do' list.

Simple and old school looking , not to mention one of my favorite steels.

I love it.

I bought a new one some years ago, after it last went out of production. The leather sheath's plastic belt clip is cheesy - and the sheath is easily knocked off the belt. I removed the clip on mine several years ago, but it is still a bit much for the pocket. The knife's Micarta scales and brass liners are thin - it is a 'Gent's knife' - so it isn't as robust as other similar knives... certainly, it isn't a Buck 110. My first one had an off-center steep grind, most evidenced at the tip. It also had some fine grinding/sanding lines evidenced on the scales - I fine sanded and polished (Semichrome) it - it is a handsome knife. I added a knife-only from the BF seller a month or two back. It was in a white nameless box - and perfect! As the knife has a VG10 blade, it is made in Japan. Great deal at it's current price - just don't expect to slay a bear with it - unless it's a smallish teddy bear!

And who would do such a thing!

Thanks for the follow-up on the current version and the sheath -- very helpful.
