I recently acquired a Rainbow Leek in a trade. The plastic slide safety was broken, and since it was going to a lady to carry in her pocketbook, I felt it was a good idea to fix it. I emailed Kershaw wanting to BUY this part, as it wasn't their fault. The emailed me back the next day for my address and contact info, and mailed the part to me the next day at NO CHARGE. Now the part itself didn't cost much, but it probably cost them several dollars to process my request, negating any profit they made on the initial sale of the knife. The promptness of how they conducted business was excellent. I had the part within 4 days of my initial email.
