It's a medium-sized folder which will fit a woman's hand better. It sports a better grip than most folders do, but is still not good. (It annoys me that folding knives all have such crummy grips. A grip should have a bulging or straight back, be bulging where the fingers run across, not curved in, and not curved zig zag or any other demented grip shape. Make the grip big in all directions so that it doesn't feel like one is trying to combat grip a pencil. This is ridiculous, producers. Get a grip!) Now I just lost the steam, writing. Kershaw, ********.

The less they know, the louder they know it. (Please remember the difference between opinion and information.)

I love my Groove, it is on the larger end of medium sized I think. I have no issues with the grip. Sounds like OP has arthritis and needs those huge ergonomic grips.

I didn't know I had woman hands ;)

I'm guessing ergonomics are not high on this guys priority list.

I want to clarify your statement. If this knife has a "better grip than most folders do", then why was there a paragraph of nonsense to follow?

Actually, I've never figured out knife grips. On some of the thinner knives, such as a Spyderco Endura, do you curl your pinky and ring around the knife, and then to your palm, so that your fingertips are between the handle and palm? Or do you squeeze the knife with your fingers, so that your hand makes a box with your lower fingers? The second option leaves a gap where the knuckles of your smaller fingers are, but the first is just awkward. The gap kind of bothers me, but if I'm holding it loose it doesn't really matter as long as everything is round. Some knives with sharp handles are just eeww. Never held a groove, but the handle looks good to me.

The Groove will apparently be discontinued this year. I grabbed a few for that reason. Even the Kershaw fans at work were not aware of this model. They all loved it and have ordered 1 or 2 before the prices jump up higher. As for LastResort, please ban this fool as obvious troll is obvious. Any knowledge it posseses would not even be worthy of using as a "Last Resort".

SOLEIL, if one of us is a troll it's you. When an attempt at an honest review of product is suppressed by someone else, you know there is something fishy going on. Why should I care to go deeper into the review when the producer doesn't care to fit the knife with an ergonomic grip? That review is all that knife deserves. Are you unhappy it stopped short? Who cares? And everyone has their own opinion on things, so don't come to me with your crap about that I must be banned because I have one too. Minibear464 above shares the same exact opinion as me about grips, but I don't see you shout you that he should be banned. You're such a troll.

Since we have more discussion of each other than the knife, this thread is useless.
