Kershaw Groove (does anyone know is it hard to sharpen that thing)

I like the knife overall but need to reprofile the edge to get it really sharp.The blade has these grooves on it.Just wondering if anyone has sharpened one of those.
 
Yup. The grooves don't affect the sharpening. Just reprofile and sharpen like you would any other knife.

The grooves shouldn't have anything to do with the sharpening since they are not part of the bevels.
 
I have a Zing, and the sharpening is just like any other knife, the grooves don't collect junk usually, but if they do it's easy to clean. great blade.
