Kershaw Groove pivot coming loose

My recently acquired Kershaw Groove has a pivot that keeps working itself loose fairly rapidly. I'm curious if any one has any suggestions for what might be the cause of this. I'm wondering if there are any simple fixes I should try before contacting Kershaw. Should I try loctite or could I screw the knife up that way. Or if there are no simple fixes, I want to be knowledgeable about the problem when I contact Kershaw for factory service rather than just sending the knife with no explanation. Any help would be appreciated.

loctite would work fine.

I believe Kershaws generally come with locktite on the threads to begin with. My Volt II ss did.

Make sure it is blue and not red!!! Also, I would recommend cleaning the screw first. Just drop it into nail polish remover over night. It will weaken the loc tite's hold on the screw.

Never had that problem wth a groove, but purple loc tite with take care of that

I'll give some loctite a try and see if that keeps it in place.
