The blade of my Half-Ton is scraping against the right liner (when you look at the knife from the top). I tried to tighten the pivot but that makes it really stiff to open and doesn't make that much of a difference. If anyone can help me fix this and center the blade, I would be very grateful. I read somewhere that if you loosen the whole knife, then center the blade, and then put it back together that it might help. I'm scared I'll void the warranty if I do that.

i would take it apart, its only like 10 dollars anyway so if something does go wrong with the knife you can just buy another one, or send it in to kershaw and see what they can do, id go for taking it apart

just my 2 cents, take it for what its worth

Loosen the body screws a hair. There is another method that sets apart the blade almost bending it away from the handles without bending the blade, but it is more difficult to describe and dangerous to do without proper knowledge of how to do it.

Yeah I'll do that, thanks for the advice

I'll loosen it first and if that doesn't work I'll just take it apart and try to fix it. thanks

With some manufacturer's, taking the knife apart will void the warranty.
This is not the case with Kershaw. Take it apart. ;)

and try tightening them in a different order.

sounds strange, but this has corrected a few off center blades on folders i have.
