Kershaw Help Needed!!

Hi Guys

I have a desire to add a Kershaw 1050 to my collection. I have observed that there are differences in the markings. I am hoping that some Kershawholic can give me an idea of what time period the various marks pertain to. So far I am aware of three different sets of marks.

The markings are:

Obverse

Kershaw
OREGON USA
by Kai Japan

Reverse

1050

KAI

Are there other markings that I have missed?

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

I have no clue how old it is but I inherited it about 10 years ago so it's pretty old I guess.
EDIT: Can any Kershaw expert tell me the age of mine by it's markings?

After asking if anyone could help me relate the markings on Kershaw 1050 knives to when produced, I decided to ask Kershaw.

Their response was quick and very informative. If their knives are half as good as their service they must sell a great blade.

Not sure on this one – possibly the very first version- this model was started in 1979. But we do not have catalogs that go back that far…
