This is my very first hinderer-esk knife and rob I got to say you and kershaw did one heck of a job. If I'm absolutely in love with this knife I cannot wait till I receive my XM-24 as soon as I order it from you. My LE guys are fascinated with how small yet well built this knife is, its like a pocket tank!

Thanks again, and cannot wait till I become part of the XM family.

i ordered one to see how well it was made and honestly i was extremely empressed just wish it was american made. id give $60 for the same thing if it were just made at home.

Yep. Wish they were US made, but still a great design for several to enjoy.

I got notification that 1 of the 2 I have had on preorder (for some time now) are ready, but plan to wait till my order is complete before shipping.

If they show up soon, I may pack one into my checked luggage and hope a TSA approved lock keeps it mine.

agreed....that china name on the knife just makes me 漢字 / 汉字. now!

Not sure what the stigma is with "Made in China".

If it is a quality item (which this clearly is) it does not bother me in the slightest.

Do you guys reject your iPhones, Macbooks and blackberrys?

Is there a problem with having a knife in your checked baggage? I'm going to Hawaii in 2 weeks and I was planning on putting my XM-18 in my bathroom kit in my checked luggage. Could they confiscate it?

It's all good, but we are straying a bit off topic. I'm a consumer, I buy it all. If I had my druthers thing would be a tad different.

Now, back on topic...

Nice Cryo

Rob is awesome in many ways, but officially I believe Rick gets the lionshare of design recognition and credit for this one.

Anything left in your checked luggage is out of your control. You want the risk, go for it, but not me. Anyone wanting to steal from the bag (not saying this is a big problem, just that it can happen) needs only the opportunity. They know you likely wrap your knife (and other valuables) in your sock, put it in a pocket or put it in the dop kit.

I travel with nice quality knives that I can replace if they go missing or I lose them myself while traveling. All are 3" or under blade length as to not ruffle any feathers wherever I may roam and do not exceed a c note each in cost.

These Cryos will make the perfect air travel companion (checked) for my needs. Familiar enough design, small and inexpensive.

Great job Rick
I love your knives
I'll be getting one when I go active duty marines!

These do look very nice, especially for the price. Will likely reach for a cryo instead of a leek
