It doesn't need a special tool. It's just a regular torx pivot. Click on the picture and you can see it better.Lets see. Its a clean, good looking design. Nice clip. Good 8Cr13MoV steel. FFG. 3D machined G10. And around $35? Sounds good. I'm not digging the pivot, which looks like it can't be adjusted without some kind of special tool. Thats big downer, and for me probably a deal breaker, because I want to be able to adjust the pivot and take the knife apart. But the other attributes look pretty good - especially the price. I appreciate Kershaw producing a knife like this at a price like this.
Does an adjustment/takedown tool come with the knife? Thanks.
Torx! Cool. I was seeing things. Looked to me like a CRK type takedown tool was needed. I'll be buying one -probably the 3.5".
