I understand completely, I love the JYD II as well. Great to see that you are buying from Tim and thanks for sharing the pics!

I have the original one only. Love mine but there are too many others on my want-list to get more JYDs. Nice collection.

Very nice collection there, mr2blue.

I thought this was the composite one:

That's the composite Sandvik 13C26/CPM-D2 version with the G-10 handles and a liner lock. The SG2 model is a laminate of 410 SS over an SG2 core (I'm pretty sure) with Ti framelock handles. It sells for more than twice what the CB version does.

Nice set. So how would you compare the Galyean Pro to the Kershaw Ti model? I had the Kerhsaw and have thought about picking up the Galyean.

Hey Mr2blue, sweet lineup you have! I'm curious about the Pro series. I know that the large are sold out, but I just read that he was going to do another run of the JYDII's and I have gotten on the list for this one! A question though. Is the clip placement, holes and distance, the same on the Pro Series and the Kershaw version? Reason I ask is that if they are I can get a deep carry STR clip without much hassle.

Btw, I am also going to get a large Lahar Pro, hopefully at the end of January.

Thicker stock flat ground CPM154 on the Pro Series. Blue Ti standoffs instead of a single backspacer. Different clip with tip up/tip down capability. More rounded edges on the scales of the Pro Series. Of course there is the biggest difference is the IKBS deploying system on the Pro Series. The blade literally flies open with a slight touch of the flipper. One of the smoothest deploying flippers I've ever handled.

The clip is a newly designed for the Pro Series. The scale is tapped for tip up or tip down carry.

Wow, for a Kershaw/Galyean nut, I'm a bit out of the loop. I have the Pro Series JYD II and Lahar, but when the heck did the all black pro series Dog show up????:o I wasn't even aware of that version!!

the all black one is a special run done for True North Knives.
