So I have been checking feebay almost everyday for a month, looking for a nice cheap JYDII composite blade with the newer "saw" pattern. A few days ago when I did my search I was pleasantly surprised to see a 1725SG2 model for sale. This has been at the top of my list for over a year ever since I learned of their existence. I never thought I'd find one BNIB for msrp SEVEN YEARS after it was made but here it is. I am beyond thrilled to finally have one of these in my hands! Everything about it is perfect for my use: the thin grind makes it a slicing machine, the size of the knife fits my hand like it was made for it, and I love flippers. Not to mention the exotic steel and titanium construction. Manufactured DEC 07. My only gripe is the tip down carry :grumpy: But I think I will just carry it in my left pocket to avoid cutting myself like I know I would if I carried it in my right. The fit and finish is superb on this knife. The lockbar is carbidized! Here are some shots I just took of it outside. The lockup is early and rock solid and the flipper action is a little slow but it just needs to be broken in. This is a knife that I'm going to keep forever
