My JYD II Mod....not sure if anyone else had as much an issue with the riveted panel look on the G-10 scales, but I felt it was one hangup on an otherwise great knife. Couldn't completely get rid of the "rivets" and "panel lines", but this added a decent amount additional grip. All completed with a Dremel and sandpaper.

The scales look awesome definitely more grip there. BTW, did you do anything with that horrendous clip?

Great job !

I am getting ready to undertake a chipped look on the slabs on my JYDII.

I modded the clip , you can see pics one the 'what knife are you carrying today' thread in general. The clip now looks mostly normal. :D On an otherwise perfect flipper by my favorite company Kershaw , the clip on this knife was horrendous.

Thanks for the kind words. I'm still debating about what to do with the horrific clip, whether I'll mod it, or just replace it with a knifekits.com clip (in tip-up position). Even if I mod the existing clip, the knife rides terribly high.

Anyone else with clip mods to the JYDII?
