Kershaw JYD II or Groove?

I had them both on passaround, and I have to say that for practical slicing purposes, the JYDII is a little better. The Groove just doesn't work too well for deep cuts, as in slicing cardboard. It does well for slashing type work, though, and I like the recurve. If I could have the Groove without the grooves, it might win due to lighter weight, and slimmer package.

I vote for the JYDII. It's just a hefty, strong knife. I know the frame-lock on the Groove is more my style, but the grooves just ruin it for me.

I just bought a JYD II the other day. Great knife for the money. Highly recommend it.

JYD II. It performs and is built like many knives 2 or 3 times its price.
