Hey all -
Here is a knife that you don't see everyday - I have a Kershaw Ti/SG2 Junkard Dog II with a hand satin finish on the blade! The handles are solid titanum with a rock solid framelock mechanism
This knife originally had a bead blast finish on the blade, and the custom hand satin finish adds tons of class to an already awesome knife.
This knife features a blade of laminated Super Gold 2 steel that I have hand satin finished down to 1000 grit paper. I also mirror polished the blade pivot area - as a result, the blade snaps open with super smooth action.
The biggest complaint I hear about this particular knife is that the clip is to big and wide - so I have narrowed and re-shaped the clip for more discreet pocket carry. The narrowing is cleanly done - you can't tell it didn't come this way from the factory!
Add this all together makes this the ultimate Junkyard Dog (excepting Tim Galyean's customs!)
Just so you know - there are a few tiny pre-existing pits in the 410 series steel layers that are sandwiched around the SG2 core (this is normal for this steel) but the blade looks beautiful. The rest of the knife looks perfect to me.
The first "I'll take it" followed by a PM or e-mail gets it!
