Kershaw JYD problem

I just got my Kershaw Junk Yard Dog Composite and it wont open with the flipper. It seems to tight so can I loosen it up somehow. I have a JYD II and it opens so fast with the flipper you would think it is an auto so I am a bit perplexed with this new knife. Thanks for any help.:confused:
 
Probably just needs to be broken in. Work it a solid 50-100 times without lube, then put a dab of oil in the joint/pivot.

If it's still bad after working the lube around, gnetly, barely, loosen the pivot.
