Today my friends and I decided to try out a new hobby, model rockets. So we go out to a huge field and need to clear a few big thorny weeds from the launch site, no problem at all for the Junkyard Dog.

Then we discovered that the metal launch tube was actually two pieces that had to be put together. The instructions recomended banging it on the concrete; but we were already WAY out in the middle of the field! No problem, the JYD also functions as a pretty decent hammer :D

JYDII CB is impressive. Its one of the fastest flippers with one of the most gutsiest lock up sounds I've heard in knife and liner lock is really thick. Its a real home run. When you add that it comes hair whittling sharp out of box and D2 steel keeps edge and keeps and keeps it... Its magnificent folder.

There is still an even greater value in a JYDII - the blemished Ti/SG2 framelock version available from one of 'our' BF dealers for a few denaros more than a CB. They are great as a knife... probably not a great hammer, however!

Stainz

PS Still love my CBs... both a black one, as shown, and a grey G10 with fuselage pattern - that D2 is great.

Hells yes. :D

Was real close to buying one, but the funky tribal-looking pocket clip put me off.

I totally agree , the pocket clip is garish to put it mildly. I modded mine so now it looks nice and normal.

I don't mind how the pocket clip looks, but I found that one of the curves was a bit too pointy and would hurt my hand a bit when really squeezing the knife. I just sanded it to be a bit rounder and now it's not an issue
