I just recently ordered one of these knives from Kershaw in October of 2001, and still have not received it. I emailed them to see what the hold up was, as I was told I would have it by the end of November. They told me they were having problems with the boron coating, so it could be a while before it was shipped. Well here it is the end of February 2002 and still no knife. All I wan't to know is, anyone out there got one yet? I see on 1stopknifeshop that they have the shiny black chive but I couldn't order it, it says they have it but it is not listed, they just list the black chive. Or am I reading the paragraph wrong? Anyway if anyone can help me find the place to get one if you can please let me know. Thanks.

I've gotten two of the black chives, both through KnifeCenter of the Internet . One during Christams season, the other this month. Both arrived within three days of ordering. Just do a search on the word "Chive".

I saw one at the House of Knives in the Mall in London ON...
Mind you the sticker price on it was ... (take a deep breath) CA$129.95 which at current exchange is about U$ 81!!!
