Hi,
I want to buy a Boa and it says "S60V440A stainless steel" Is this S60V or 440A ? Would this be a sales gimmick ?

I think it should say "S60V/440V". I seem to recall both steels being one and the same, just different names. I have a rainbow Boa with CPM 440V.

Hi, thanx for welcoming me. I know that S60V and 440V is the same but the add says "S60V440A stainless steel". Furthermore, I got a email from someone in South Africa that said he could get these knives for around R500 (USD 70),inclusive of P&P ? I don't know what to do.

If you zoom in on the picture it has S60V on the blade. The description is just a typo.

You might want to check out this thread... interesting. If it's indeed S60V then it appears to be an older model, as newer Boas come with S30V.
