Well, too small is kind of in the hands of the holder. I got the limited edition version for my wife (mop inlay and pocket sheath instead of clip). It's very nice. Quick firing, good sharp edge, classy looking. It's not at all too small to be usable for most home/office sorts of tasks. But, I'm a big fan of the Benchmade 210 as well, so I have no problem with just big enough to get the job done.

Let me add that the steel snob in me wishes that Kershaw would upgrade from the 440A currently used.

Oregon, I don't know if this helps but I have a mini-mojo and it too is on the small side. I haven't handled the Centofante but the mojo is small but feels bigger than it measures. This may be due to it's weight, 3.1 oz. and finger placement. This is a well built knife and solid. I too wish Kershaw would upgrade the steel. (440c would work for me) If I use the knife during the workday, I need to "tune" up the blade almost nightly. (strop) I have resided to carring a "back-up" also. (Para-Mil) But the Mojo is my go-to blade right now.

"just big enough to get the job done" This is what matters.

Thx for the info Donovan. The Activator looks brilliant! What is the handle material? Do you clip the sheath to your belt for carry?

Didn't I read, Blade I thinK, Ken Onion said that some of the existing Kershaw product line would receive updated blade steel and that these models would probably debut at Atlanta Blade Show? Perhaps they are listening. Kershaw, in Tualatin Oregon, is within walking distance from me. Love their display cases as you walk in. Trophies and unique pieces under glasss.

Wells,

The MMojo and the Centofante are about the same size. So I'm thinking that the Centofante will do the job without springing from my hand, due to lack of adequate grip, while being used. I gave my sister a leek and she is delighted with its size and utility. The Centofante seems more rich, sophisticated and urban.

I've got a jones for the Wharncliff style blade. Looked at BM 425 http://www.newgraham.com/benchmade_gravitator.htm (carried tip down which I don't enjoy) and haven't completely ruled out and looked at BM's Apparition http://www.benchmade.com/products/product_detail.aspx?model=670 (tip down, is that real genuine Kudu horn) and still on the fence.

Best,

The 210 handles are a combo of G10 and carbon fiber. Very cool effect that works very well too. The sheath has a standard loop that your belt goes through. Some like it, some don't. I do. Do a Bladeforums search. There are a couple of threads dealing specifically with the 210.

i own one and regret buying it...I like my Blur and Boa and even my mini Boa, but this blade is really small,

i find it good for opening mail, and as a knife to wear with a suit thats about it,,,

any real cutting , you would need another knife for, and the blade shape is not good for most every day cutting for me

Maybe there will soon be a larger version with better steel. Thanks for the input.

All the best,

I wouldn't count on it. That's not really Kershaw's bag.
