Yes sir, it certainly is!! It looks a LOT better in person than it does in the photo, though .7 did a great job shooting it.

What a beauty! Although, I like the speedsafe, I'm not too certain about legalities round these parts. So, like my Chive, I will probably just break her down and just remove the spring :D Dexter, is it a frame lock like the Chive? I sure hope so

Wow Dex,
thanks for sharing, very impressive.

Can you point me to a place where I can find out who won what award at Blade Show?

I don't know. It's pretty, but I personally think that the finish is going to show scratches and after a while the knife is not going to look nearly this nice.

Speed-safe plus flipper rocks.

Speed-safe without flipper, sucks.

$99 SR for a 440A blade with a disco paint job?

Methinks I will pass, even at $74.99.

I must admit that would sucks...
however I found the coating pretty cool, and much less likely to have negative reactions among the "normal" people.

I agree. If it hd the flipper, it would not suck............as much.

I can live without the flipper (and paint job), but I also wish that Kershaw would offer one of Ken's designs with a titanium frame-lock and high-grade steel. I think it is safe to say it would sell even if priced in the +/- $150 range, and there can't be much argument about it cutting into the makers market.

I dont like the blade colored, too. It would look better with a satin finish blade and just the handle colored :)
