Does anyone have info on this
Ken Onion Whrlwind #1560.
Has a polished blade with three
holes at the top of the blade.

They are still in production....have been made with a variety of blade steels (AUS-6, AUS-8, Sandvik 13C26)....currently 14C28N. Made in the US...assisted opening / liner lock and can be had for around $35-45.

Thanks guys. I thought it was an old knife not being
made any more. I saw it in a old hardware store and
they were asking $55.00 for it.

I thought they 1st came out with 440A. The one I have is 440A I got it in about 2002. Kershaw changed to 13C26 in 2007 and then to 14C28N in 2009

My list wasn't comprehensive....and now that I looked again...fricken wrong as well. :p

I don't think any Whirlwinds were made with AUS-6 or AUS-8. 440a...definitely.
