Kershaw knife bag

I have been trying to get one of the knife bags with the removable center section. The bag is #997 and holds 18 knives. I keep getting shipped bags that only hold 12 knives(6 pockets on each side) and do not have center section. They dont even have a velcro strip to attach a center section. They do have the Kershaw logo on them. Are these older cases or fakes. Any help appreciated.

I don't know if they changed. I have 5 of them and they all have the center. Mine are a few years old.

The center pockets are so tight though that anything bigger than a Leek won't fit. Not easily anyway. The center part is nice though unloaded as it keeps the right side knives from banging in to the left.

Tkanks for the info. Probably just gonna keep this one as I am still waiting for refunds for 2 other bags with same issue.

Anyone know of a storage system I dont have to undo 42ft of velcro to get to knives?

I have never seen them without the center pouch. I have several in stock , both kershaw and ZT style.

I have several of the Kershaw bags, one of which is one of the ones without the removeable center, got it off evilbay last summer. My ZT bag holds 16 instead of 18, so the removeable center has 6 larger pockets, whereas the Kershaw one has 8 smaller pockets.

I just got one of the Kershaw bags with a center section from Kershawguy. That was, like, last week.

Hey chester what size/model is that pelican? I really want to get some of those bills customs multi packs but the pelican might be more cost effective.
