Dear Friends,
A few weeks back we had a discussion about knives and my wanting to get started in collecting.
At That time there was a lot of advice and comment on Kershaws Onion knives basically the Chive and Scallion. I have them today as a collection start. They seem to be very well put together. My problem starts with opening the knife. I can't get either knife to budge. I look at the instructions and it is still nothing.
I know I am sixty years old and have arthritis but I should still be able to get a knife open. This leads a man to another Jack Daniels and tryng again anther day. However while I wait I am open to suggestions.! My best to you all.

if you look at the knife when it's closed near the tip theres a little bar that slides back and forth, it's a safety measure to make sure it doesnt open in your pocket if you slide it toward the end of the handle it should open.

Dear Cyblade,
Thanks so much for your help. It seems when the right switcches are turned everything will be fine. Both knives work perfectly. Again thanks so much.
Sweet
Kenneth

No prob thats what we're here for, besides the first time I played with one the sales guy had to tell me what was going on.

You should have seen me trying to open a Microtech LCC bolster release for the first time on Christmas morning with everyone watching me. Quite a performance. :)

Dear Jack,
Christmas has never been easy. I usually receive presents that have 6000 easily assembled parts. While I sit there looking stupid, something I do quite well, the rest of the family goes out for a 6 course meal.
When they return and I give up in frustration a 13 year old relative assembles in in ten minutes flat. Talk about deflation. Yes Jack I do know what you are talking about.;

Best Regards
Ken
