kershaw knives im looking for please help

im new to collecting but love my kershaw blades already....i came across a knife today ive never heard of before and would like to get my hands on hit. The Kershaw Ener-g??? can anyone tell me anything about this knife and where i may find one and whats a good price? also im looking for a pack rat non serrated new or blem!
 
Well, they're both discontinued, so they may be a bit harder to find. You'll most likely have to look a little harder to find them. My information is only second hand, so take it for what it's worth. The Ener-g had two versions, a big one and small one. They were both manual framelocks with a different flipper operation from normal (normal being the blade tang extension). Trac-tec too I think. They aren't in the exchange too often but you could try the Want to Buy forum. That's all I've got.
 
If I were you, I'd ask in the Kershaw sub-forum. There's a lot of guys in there that are more than willing to help. They've got a lot of information and I know one guy even had a collection of Packrats and another posted a picture of a camo one.
 
1) ask in the kershaw forum
2) check the exchange *often*
3) I personally check in the local pawn shops for old or discontinued items.
4) if you do find what you want...jump on it! (or somebody else will and you'll kick yourself for it)
 
Now discontinued, Lee Williams design, 2 lengths (3.5 and 3), 2 different blade and scale treatment, liner lock, 14C28N, hollow grind...

These are great little slicer / flippers. The Black G-10 and DLC coated ones (both blade lengths) were a sprint run. If you can find one around $40, you'd be in it at a decent price.
 
I have the all black g10 ener-g. It was my first Kershaw and very well still may be my favorite. Not long ago there was an auction on that auction site for 2 of them, one of each size.

Also, there was one on the exchange not long ago for a very reasonable price. I wanted to buy it but money was tight at the time. No one bought it so it may still be available. Look up BF member four_shore and see if they're still interested in selling.
 
They are very easy to swap parts with, too.

Those are beautiful......and thanks everyone for the feedback. im trying to learn about this order of kai group and how to join???? only have 24 kershaws needs more points!!!lol

I have the black g10 with the non-coated blade. Is that one of the standard models or sprint run? Also, my pocket clip looks just like yours but maybe smaller and only has two screw holes?

The sprint run was the black handle, coated blade and black clip. I was a little ahead of Kershaw with the black handle satin blade config.

So the greyish with black blade was first, then the all black sprint run, then the knife I have?

I would love to find a black clip for mine.
 
the grey with Trac-tek inserts and satin blade was first, then the all black, then yours.
