I'm not sure if Colby is here on the forums so I just wanted to show this guy off. I was wanting to pickup a knockout but I wasn't really sure I'd like the dual aluminum handles and then I saw this one listed on ebay. I'm hesitant to purchase pimped knives, but I thought it looked really nice in the pictures so I went ahead and pulled the trigger and I'm so happy I did! He replaced the non locking aluminum scale with a hunter orange g10 scale that really makes it stand out. Then he bead blasted the blade and all the hardware to give the knife a clean look. He also milled the g10 scale to retain the speedsafe function and it works beautifully! Lockup is super early and rock solid. Everything fits right and functions as it was meant to in the original design. And the icing on the cake is the sebenza like edge he put on it! Slices through phone book paper like a hot knife through butter. Colby took a really cool folder and basically perfected it. I love frame lock folders that use g10 on the non locking side, it really appeals to me functionally and I find it aesthetically pleasing. Mr. Seibold also informed me that he is making another Kershaw knockout with carbon fiber and no speedsafe. You can follow him on instagram @sicknives. Let me know what you guys think!
