Kershaw Knockout Issue

What happened to the Kershaw Forum? I wanted to post there today, and realized its gone.

My Kershaw 1870 Knockout lost a handle screw. I've contacted Kershaw and requested replacements. Twice now I've received the wrong screws. This is getting frustrating. :grumpy: Has anyone else had this problem?

I've never run into this before. I've asked for pocket clip replacements and that has gone down perfectly. I'm assuming you use the online form. Maybe you're telling them the wrong model number? Maybe calling them directly would help. That way, you have a real person to hash things out with and hopefully get better results. I can't see the problem being anything but miscommunication. Which screw are you talking about?

The last thing I thought of is maybe the handle widths differ slightly between the G10 and aluminum versions. They moved from G10 to aluminum after a short run because of handle strength. That's my $0.02

I'd give them a call and explain the situation. Are they too big/small/long/short? I got some replacement 550 screws that were shorter, but still worked just fine.

Remove another one and send it to them so they know exactly what you need.

Should you have to do this? No, but you're oh for two lol.
