Kershaw knockout, kershaw piston, Kershaw shallot, or spyderco centofante 3?

I honestly can't decide if I should get the shallot, piston, knockout or centofante 3. All of these seem like they are great knives. I recently started collecting late 2013 and so far my collection consists of mainly low priced kershaws. I want to try and get a knife that's a little more pricey(I get paid minimum wage lol). So it's down to these four knives. I'm looking for a good edc that can hold an edge and has a quick and smooth deployment. I won't be using them for hacking wood, just everyday tasks like opening packages or things of that nature.

Ok, so I'm going to break down the options a little into a couple categories. Maybe you could fill one you don't have yet. If you don't have any spyderco, you might as well try it out. Also if you don't have a backlock, another reason to go Spyderco. If you want the super slim edc, then the shallot might be good, but it has a recurve, so be aware because it will need sharpening.

Metal Handles
Knockout and Shallot

Assisted
All the Kershaws

Opening Hole
Spyderco

Blade Steel
Spyderco VG10 (great EDC steel)
Kershaw 14C28N (good EDC steel)

Slim EDC
Shallot and Centofante

Lock
Framelock - Shallot
Sub-Framelock - Knockout
Linerlock - Piston
Backlock - Centofante

Subjectively, I like the Knockout the most of that bunch. It is super thin for easy carry, has the deep pocket clip so it disappears in your pocket, gives you a big slab of Sandvik 14C28N steel, and the assisted opener fires hard. The Centofante 3 is great too, but the Spydie hole is a little small. But I still love it. The Piston is a lot like the Knockout, but without the deep clip and hybrid framelock. The Shallot? To me its a snoozer, but a lot of guys dig it. They all cut stuff, so buy what you like.

Okay I think I've narrowed it down to the knockout and centofante, and I'm leaning more towards the centofante. I own a camillus knive that also has a blade made of vg10 and it's great at holding an edge

Honestly now I can't decide between the centofante and the knockout. I'm gonna get all four eventually, but I'm wondering which to get first. I own a lot of kershaw as is, but I also have the spyderco tenacious coming in today or tommorrow so I may just keep the spyderco trend going since I don't own any spyderco as is. So it's looking like the centofante is the winner

Thanks for the posts btw

There's your answer. And btw, I actually know of a guy named Dennis Minnis.

Knockout gets my vote as well. I really like mine.

Deep carry clip, really thin and light for its size, and its made in the good ole USA.

Honestly I think that the knockout may have to wait. I forgot how sexy this knife looks until I saw this picture and it's vg10. Also that Dennis Minnis thing gave me a good laugh. I wish that was my last name lol

Knockout gets my vote all the way. Big blade of awesome Sandvik steel, Speedsafe fires with authority and it's so light considering how much knife you're getting.

I see you pretty much have your mind made up on the Centofante. Great choice, man. To be honest, I just wanted to post my pics :D jk jk
