hey guys i recently purchased a used Knockout. its in very good condition and fires very hard. however i notice something rattling inside the handles when the blade is deployed. not sure what this could be. something like the speed safe system maybe loose or broken? just wondering if its normal or if i should be concerned. also is there anything i can do to to get rid of the rattling, not to fond of it. thanks in advance guys!

If it fires fine then it's probably just the torsion bar rattling, all you have to do is take the knife apart and stick a little grease in there (on the torsion bar and the milled out portion it's held in) and it should fix it right up:thumbup:

It's normal. No need for concern. If it bugs you though, put a little grease around the torsion bar (will require disassembling the knife). I use white lithium grease (cheap, and I already had some lying around). Any grease that's reasonably thick and temperature resistant should work fine.

My bad. I didn't notice that. I would have put some grease in there before I shipped it out, if I had known.
But I'm glad to here it got to you.
