I know that the steel on the spyderco is more reliable and preffered but i would like opinions on what i should get for a new EDC. I have a delica 4 but it was very abused before i got it.

Save up, get both, decide on the winner.

If money is tight, sell the loser.

Well I vote endura. I am a big fan of that whole platform. The steel is great, touches up quickly, cuts like a laser, reliable lock up, grippy handles, there really isn't much to not like about it. It is a bit big. You could always get the delica if that's an issue. Oh and I've pried with it a bit. The steel is tough. I wouldn't recommend opening dried paint cans with it or beer bottles BUT I was impressed by its ability to flex under stress and come back to its original shape.

For that you need the E4W. The wave opens brews just fine. Just don't try it with the blade out. That's the voice of experience speaking!
