Like many of you I own a bunch 'o knives accross
various brands like Spyderco, Benchmade, Queen, Camillus,
Victorinox, Camillus, Pakistan (I kid, I kid), etc.
The Leek is my first Kershaw. I am pretty much a
die hard BM fan. The fit and finish on my
BMs are top notch and the materials are high quality.
I have to say this Kershaw Leek is one nice knife.
The fit and finish are dead on perfect.
Lock-up is solid. The AO is tons of fun and works really really well.
The blade shape great... a nice hollow grind, really really sharp point,
all in a nice thin but not too thin blade. The edge on the knife
is thinned out like a Spyderco's... pretty much exactly in that way.
It should be a good cutter... I'll let you know.
The size is perfect (3" blade, 4" handle) for EDC.
The handle is really comfortable for hard cutting tasks. I cut
into some really hard tempered wood with it, without any issues.
It is only around $40!!!
I'm now a Kersaw fan!
