Kershaw Leek blade centering

I have a composite blade leek whose blade is off center to the point that it's rubbing a bit on the non-locking side. Is there something I can do about this, or do I have to send it in to Kershaw? Thanks!

I believe that there is a sequence of tightening the screws for the scales and pivot, that has been known to work. Alas, I don't know it. :(

If one of the more knowledgeable Kershaw folk don't chime in, the warranty service is among the best there is.

My way to fix this problem (especially with the Leek) is to loosen the pivot and first handle screw after the pivot. Then press the blade past center in the opposite direction. Tighten the loosened handle screw then the pivot. Finally, release the pressure on the blade. The blade should be sitting pretty near center. Try the flipper, if it doesn't work, loosen the pivot screw about 1/4 turn and try it again.

That should fix you up. If not feel free to PM or email me.
