I see the leeks anywhere from 28 shipped to 100plus what are the differences of the cheap models just the blade?

The Leek also comes in S30V with G-10 handle scales.

The only Leek I've kept is the CB with 14C28N/CPM-D2.

The Avalanche was available in S60V.

Wasn't the Boa originally available in S60V/440V as well, before they switched to S30V?

I think I am thinking of the Centofante/Onion.

As far as I remember the avalanche, boa, and the blur had s60v variants. Richochet and one of the random tasks also if I remember correctly. No leeks in s60v. The kershaw centofante I believe was 13c26n. There were no other higher end steels offered on it just different finishes.

I have a Rainbow Leek and a S30V G10 leek. The Rainbow is easier to sharpen and is impossible to.scatch.

May I bring this to the light?

I only found the random Leek with s30v blade. That has a tanto-like blade with the new serrations.

Are there "normal" Leeks with s30v blade?

Oh, and another steel used is the Sandvik 7c27mo2 for the 1660c27. No one mentioned the daamascus Leeks yet.

thx

Yes there was the G10 Leek which had the standard blade shape in S30V. The Leek has been around for a very long time so it's been available in a variety of different steels, 440a, 13c26, 14c28n, S30V, ZDP189, Cpm-D2, Alabama Damascus, Elmax 7c27mo2....etc.

I don't own one but handle one frequently at a local knife shop. One sweet knife. I prefer the composite blade. It would be my gent's knife if I were one.
