Just opened a new Leek - I must say very impressed with design ,fit and finish were great until I went to reverse clip [tip up carry]
first screw in no problem so did not fully tighten ,went for 2nd screw -no go!
I tried without clip forsome reason could not start threads into hole .

Is there a quick fix - hate to carry tip down

all i can think of is to try switching screws? i.e screw 1 in hole 2 and vice versa. if that doesn't work then i'd give kershaws customer service a call and see if you can get a couple more screws.

I had this problem with 2 kershaws before, a storm and a leek. Try pushing really hard while you screw it in, that work for me, if one screw really seems like it won't go in then try the other screws in different places. It really shouldn't be so hard to swap the pocket clip, Kershaw needs to make those screws better.

I went to switch the clip on a Tyrade to tip-up carry and discovered that those two holes had not gotten tapped, only drilled. So I got a tap the size of the screws and tapped the holes. Worked fine after that. If the holes are untapped or not fully tapped, trying to force the screw in will only ruin it.
