Kershaw Leek Different Screw Size??

I have owned a couple of different Leeks, and went for a 1660R (tanto blade)on my last purchase. It was bought off ebay and was in decent shape. I recently went to clean it and had a problem with the handle screws ( a first on any of the Leeks I have serviced). It seems the screws in the 1660R. I ordered a replacement set from KAI and they don't fit. As you can see the screws in the knife are smaller than what was sent out.
All the pictures of the knife I see online match what I have, so not thinking its a fake. Has anyone run into this before with a Kershaw Leek?

Guess I just answered my own question. The 1660R I bought must be a fake, when put up against my regular 1660 - the differences become clear. The fake is the one on the top.

I see you have figured out the issue. I was going to suggest your Leek was a counterfeit / fake. Looking at your pics it has all the tale tale signs of being a fake.

I bought it used off eBay, listing had a box/manual etc. I honestly had no idea that these were being copied. I have seen the fake Benchmade knives, seems odd to go through the hassle on a knife this inexpensive. Will have to buy new from now one or really study the listing before buying anything else.

The Leek is very popular and they’re faking anything that’s popular and profitable. Every fake Leek I’ve seen the clip doesn’t cover the lock bar cut out properly. The stamping on the pocket clip is off too as is the writing on the blade.

Yeah look at the thumb studs and the screw and washer for the blade-lock, something is not right with that one on top. That sucks man :-( but at least it wasn’t a ZT or something crazy expensive.
I’ve owned several Leeks over the years, and if these were not right next to each other I’d have a hard time noticing any difference
