Kershaw leek is stiff unless the pivot screw is loose?

I know kershaw. at least with the leeks is heavy on locktight because there knives are picky when it comes to how tight the screws can be.. but come on the pivot screw is so loose it will fall out. i just took it apart cleaned it lubed it up n its still stiff!

Sometimes, if the pivot is too loose, the blade will appear stiff because it will actually bind.

If not that, and you can't see anything wrong, maybe a return to Kershaw?

I have several Leeks, all work great.

Sometimes the spring in the leek will weaken.

Mine is due for replacement soon.
