Kershaw Leek Manufacturing Date

I recently got a new Kershaw Leek, it's a composite blade. There is no manufacturing date in it, not like my older Leek. Is it common for newer Leek?

My composite Leek is from before 2010 and it doesn't have the manufacturing date on it.

Close --a few months from 2010 they decided to not print the date, however I believe that they are (and have been) printing the manuf. dates.
