I think they're pretty good. The blade comes to a very fine point, so I would say you might have to worry about breaking the tip more than you would on other knives, but as long as you are careful with the tip, the Kershaw Leek is a great little EDC blade.
I don't recall the model name, but it was made in china. The lock failed and cut the crap out of my finger. Also, it would not take an edge.
Are you sure it was a Leek? All the Leek models I know of are made in the USA.

I loved mine then I bent the tip. Very stabby tip but fragile. I left it on a stack of cardboard and someone snatched it.
I think it was karma. I found an identical leek on the same job site before losing mine. It belonged to a dick head engineer. Instead of giving it back to him I gave it to my dad. Within a week my leek was gone.Bummer, mate. Bunch of thieves on this earth, nah?
