Kershaw Leek

I got mine a month or two ago and I really like it. Lockup is great, and it snaps open as fast, if not faster than, my Chive. The Chive is a great knife but the Leek is a great compromise between the Chive and Scallion and the larger SpeedSafes.

I like the overall design and the Speedsafe on this model seems to have more of a 'kick' to it than some of the other models.

Haven't put one through any type of work but the overall look and feel is pleasing to me.

I've heard... now I haven't done the statistics on it, but...It's pretty much half and half... people like it, or people feel it's unsafe...

There are testimonies of those knives going both ways.

I just recieved my first speed safe in the form of a Chive last week. It was the first time I ever handled one. I love it. How it is classified as a non auto, I don't know nor care. I look forward to buying some larger models now. As far as saftey goes. I am not sure I would 100% trust it. When I have carried it a few times this week, I put it in my little change pocket to min. chance of injury. Either way I still love the design. :D

I personally love the darn thing, and have had no safety issues with it.
Pros: VERY fast
Framelock
Fairly inexpensive
Blade geometry
Right "size" (at least for me)
Ambidestrous

Cons: Blade steel (but what do you want for under $50 at most 'netailers!!

Yup. I ignore it, though.
