apologies for my poor pictures....

I have really been enjoying the Kershaw Link, and especially the FRN handled version. This model works well for me as a daily carry when I know I’m going to get dirty. It’s riding that line of value vs utility very well.

Extremely easy to sharpen, and easy to recommend purchasing to anyone. The geometry lends to decent slicing, and it has been robust enough albeit a tad heavy.

Have a great day all...

I do have the HOB version, but I personalized it and it’s a bit harder for me to use it atm since the plain 420 version works so well. It does have a nicer deep carry clip, neat red anodized back spacer and the S35vn. Totally cool and worth the asking price in my opinion.

Good to hear you're digging the Link! I actually have an m390 Link and an s35vn Dividend on my "to buy" list.

I have a few Dividends as well, but not the M390 version. It’s a nice little knife and I’ve gifted the FRN a couple of times. I had some QC issues on one of them and sent it into Kershaw for warranty. They sent it back stating it was fine. My issue was the blade was crooked and also in the pivot crooked. Even my kids can see the bend...but I would guess on a cheaper mass produced tool tolerances are less of a big deal than what my OCD gets triggered with hahaha. I’ll post some pics later

I absolutely love the Link. I originally got the $30 420HC model. I was blown away by the hand feel. Then I reviewed my buddies House of Blades exclusive S35VN model for my YouTube channel and I was hooked. I ended up ordering the M390 version from Blade HQ.

I will probably end up buying other versions in the future. It's the only knife model I own more than one of.

I agree about the ergos. They are quite good and the full belly works well for slicing and push cuts. The speedsafe feels better than on the speedsafe on my ZT0770 due to a better flipper tab. I really like the FRN a lot; it makes me really appreciate Kershaw making good quality USA made users.

In my experience the 420hc combined with the good geometry gets a normal days work done and comes back to a high sharpness quickly and easily on a DMT fine/extra fine duofold (or any decent sharpener for that matter).

They don't make a Link with M390 or S35VN with G10 handles do they?

Not a fan of metal handles for some reason. Gimme G10 or micarta.

I got the standard frn link. Great knife, flips open fast and easily one of the most ergonomic knives i got.

I kind of feel the same way with this model too. The FRN feels a little better in hand and lighter as well. The base model FRN 420hc has quickly become my "beater EDC". The price/performance is pretty high on this one.
