I just got a Kershaw link, the one with AL scales and a stonewashed drop point blade. Right around 40.00. *I haven't hade time to do much of anything but fondle it yet but so far I love it. The fit and finish are better than I've seen on some knives costing 3 and 4 times as much. The grey scales and blackwashed blade look very classy. How will it look a year from now? Size wise it's *almost identical to*my ZT 0770 CF but quite a bit heavier. *I'll give it some time and see how I like it after some use but if I had to guess I'd say this may turn out to be a real winner for Kershaw!*
**Anyone got some miles on one yet? Please share.

I haven't had the chance to pick one up yet, but I really like how they look! Especially the aluminum ones

I'm sure the blackwash finish will hold up nicely. As for the scales, who knows haha. Post some pics when you get the chance.

I have been carrying one for a couple of weeks. The scales definitely show a little wear but all in all it is holding up well. Very very good knife for the money!

I have the tanto blade Link ordered since January, still waiting. I have the Camber, if you don't own one do yourself a favor and get one, you will not be disappointed. It is almost the perfect flipper pocket knife.

I figured the ano would wear off with time but that's fine, just adds character!

It is a cool looking knife. Has anybody de-assisted one of these yet? Detent?

Haven't de-assisted mine and won't. Mine has a pretty strong detent but nothing that bothers me. I'm really looking forward to putting some miles on it. I still can't get over the value.

Hell of a knife for the money, and made in the USA. Pretty awesome.

I got one of the aluminum handled ones as well. It is a great knife. I also drew immediate comparisons to the Camber and 0770. The full steel liners on the Link are the reason it is a bit heavier than the Camber or 0770 (which are linerless aluminum on one side and an inset liner lock in aluminum on the other).

The Link definitely has a lot going for it. Great design, excellent construction, and made in the USA at a price point competitive with many imports. I haven't put a lot of miles on mine yet. It's only gotten a couple of days of carry (too many knives, too little time).

Here's a pic of mine that I picked up from the forum. Still like new because I haven't carried it much, but I would echo what others have said about the build quality.
