Guess who's getting a Mini-Task lefty! Me!!! I ordered it from knifecenter.com and should be getting it on Tuesday. I'll post when I comes in to let everyone else know how it is. If anyone else out there has one, I'd like to hear your opinions.

The lefty mini tasks are out?! I have been bugging Kershaw for weeks. Keep getting "we expect it to be available in <fill in a date here>" but to date hasn't shown up at any of the knife places on the web that I am aware of. KnifeCenter has it you say? Let us know if it arrives next tuesday.

Bill,
I talked to Howard Korn on Friday afternoon, and he said that the UPS person came and picked it up. I assume it's on the way. I talked to a lady Patty and a guy Kevin when I originally ordered it, and they said they only had one left. I'm not sure if that was just a pressure tactic to get me to buy it, or if I did truely get the last one. I'd call them on Monday and see if they have any left.
knifeworks.com also had them, but Roger said that he was out of stock. I'm sure if nothing else, you could get a local shop to special order one.
I'll be back here on Tuesday, hopefully with good news!

It hasn't come yet!!! I just needed to share my agony with someone. UPS made their last delivery to my dorm for today, and there was no package for me :-(
Hopefully I can call knifecenter tommorrow and find out where it is!

Mitch,

You won't be disappointed.I posted about it in the review forum, check it out if you want.

Jailhack..... I just read your review. Makes me want this lefty version even more! Now... to find a place that actually HAS them. Discount knives has no info on them. Knife Center says they expect them "soon". Ugh!

Guys,
Bad news...UPS lost my package. It was shown as signed for by the front desk, but it was never physically recieved. I'm very bummed out about this.
On the bright side of things, Howard at KnifeCenter has been very helpful and assures me that somehow, sometime, I'll get one.

~Mitch :-(

I don't know if he has any more, but give Mark at MJS a call, he had them last week.

Guys,
I'm very, very, very, happy!!! My package wasn't really "lost" it was just that the driver forgot it in his truck when he made the rest of the delivery. I finally got it from him (in person) tonight.

All lefties...this is the one to get! Maybe it's just that I've never owned a true lefty-knife, but this thing is awesome. Speed-safe rules! Ken Onion - Thank you.

The only complaint that I have is that the thumbstud is still a little too agressive. Maybe in the schools metal shop I'll turn my own thumbstud on a lathe. Do you think that "personalizing" the thumbstud will void the warranty?

Gotta go play with my new toy,
Mitch
