Trying to find a Kershaw folder that I had bought from a Snap-On dealer. It has an aluminum handle with rubber(kraton?) inserts. It was a liner lock with thumb stud & pocket clip. Nothing on their website, any help?
Thanks!

Kershaw 2410 or variant? Google it.

Not exactly a "traditional" knife though...wrong forum for those.

Hi dchak -

Sounds like a 1670 blur to me - with the limited information.

I believe there was a red handled blur with snap-on logo.

There are also other snap-on logo'd Kershaws, the Skyline, but those do not have track-tek on the scales.

best regards -

Yeah, I was thinking it was the snap-on blur as well.

Don't know of any other kershaws that have trac-tech but are liner locks instead of framelocks, and were made for snap-on.

Unless of course its preblur, the OP didn't mention speedsafe...

Could also be the old Chubby version or the new Half ton. The chubby was mostly sold by craftsman and snap-on

Yeah sounds like a blur to me, I've seen a few different Snap-On blur models. All black with thier logo on the blade, and a red handled one with their logo on the blade. PE and SE, even tanto if I remember correctly.

It's going to be either the Blur or the Chubby. Those are the only two Snap-On red-handled liner locks with the inserts that I know of. If you need help finding the exact knife, go to ebay and search for Kershaw and Snap On....you'll pretty much see them all.

The 2410, 2415 and the 2420 were great knives! The 2410 was the smallest with no pocket clip and the 2420 was the largest! My favorite EDC. Lineraction opening was great as you could open it slowly or push forward for AO opening speeding. In my opinion better then a AO for that alone.....

Hows about a large size assisted opening frame lock knife with a wharncliffe blade? Is there a Kershaw that fits the bill?

Heres a list of all their framelocks, poke around their site and you will answer your own question. I think the Leek is pretty close to what you are asking for though, but its not terribly large or a standard wharnie.

Thats kinda what I had in mind was the leek only bigger. But surfing the web on my ps3 is like pullin teeth(the browser doesn't run certain sites, KAI being one of those).

Yeah, nothing jumping out as a great option for ya. The leek is the only framelock thats really wharncliffe like. The only other two wharncliffes that are assisted are the needs work(3" blade), and the random task 2 (3-1/4"blade)

In order:
