Kershaw multi-tool

I had one of these, I bought a tackle box in a pawn shop and it was in there. I ended up giving it away to a friend. I miss that it had the vise grip like function so I was looking on ebay for one. Why are they so much? I saw one auction that hasn't ended yet and it was over $160. I guess they don't produce them anymore?

Supply & demand. I wish Kershaw still made them. It's somewhat surprising but there's one at a local gun shop. The plastic is yellow with age and it still has the original price tag on it (around $95 if I recall correctly). You might also look for the Craftsman version -- it's also made by Kershaw and it's almost the same as the Kershaw version (just a few minor differences). There's also a very low quality immitation from Sheffield but I'd run away from that one.

Thanks, I'll keep looking. I'll also check out the Craftsman version. I saw the sheffield and if they are built like their folders are yeah, i don't want any part of it.
