I've found a Kershaw N1050 for sale. I am not sure what to make of it, because when I do a search for Kershaw N1050, I find nothing. But when I search for 1050, I find oodles of information.

This particular knife says "Seki City, Japan" on the blade and the model number is "N1050." If anyone can shed some light on this for me, I'd be very appreciative. The fellow is also selling a Kershaw Talon.

He wants $30 for the N1050, and $20 for the Talon. Any help is appreciated. Should I just buy them?

sh, I am unaware of any "N"1050. Does it look the same as the standard 1050? Pricing for both knives are rock bottom. If they are in any kind of condition, it seems to be quite a deal.

$20 for a Talon? Buy now and ask questions later, and if you don't want to buy let me know who it is so I can :)

I am going to buy them tonight. Thanks for the information.

And yes, the N1050 looks identical to any other 1050 . . . I don't know any more than that.

Bought the N1050 - $30. Perhaps the "N" stands for "nickel," since the bolsters seem to be just that.
Bought the Talon - 1420ST - $20.
Both mint condition, and the N1050 has a leather sheath as well.
What a deal!
