Kershaw Nakamura with Dinosaur Bone Scales

My skill level took another leap forward with this Kershaw Nakamura. I can now polish inside tight curves allowing a bigger "lip" for the blade to tuck in behind.

The bigger challenge I figured out was getting the dinosaur bone fit being tight to the bolsters yet allowing them to still be removed for pivot screw adjustments and cleaning if needed.

Every previous time I had adhered the front of the bone to the bolsters.

So, that makes this knife a real honest EDC carry knife. I made this one as part of a barter trade for dinosaur bone but I got two slabs of this piece of bone so I will get to make a duplicate one for my personal collection. :D

Nice work, but not what could be termed a traditional knife.

I'm already wanting a Nakamura, and this isn't easing the craving one bit.

Beautiful work.

Awesome choice of materials.
Really sets off the pattern in the steel.

Maybe I'm going crazy, but I swear I've seen this thread before

EDIT: Found it in the Kershaw Forum, RIP :(
