I seen a needs work G-10 for sale in the exchange yesterday and was first one ive ever seen.....I havent been collecting long and was wondering when the G-10 needs work knives came out and was it a limited run or what because i havent seen them anywhere. Just something ive been wondering about and knew this was place to find the answer:)

I don't know when they came out or if they were a limited run, but there were about 330 made.

Thanks.....So they are somewhat rare, explaind why ive never seen one before let alone for sale

I have a couple and they are great knives...a G-10 Needs Work and S60V Blur blem are my two favorite work knives.

im going to have to try and hunt one down sometime.....adding it to the long list ( if i can find one)

I saw that one on the exchange and was really tempted to get it since I'm a really big fan of the Needs Work. I think I've had about 5 or 6 of the different colors, but only one of the G10.

I hate that they make such a small amount of G10 runs of certain knives. Like the leek for example... The price difference is annoying!!

Life is full of disappointments. Buying 3 of these G10 Needs Works wasn't one of them. Bought one for me, one as the prize in a giveaway, and one for my son-in-law for Xmas. Fantastic knife. The blade shape is very useful, the handle offset really works great, and the G10 is perfect, but most importantly, the snap of the AO opening is awesome.

I just got mine from the exchange and wow I am in love with it. Flips great, locks solid, and fits like a glove.

Wharncliffe? Check
Flipper? Check
Just what I was looking for.

Perfect :)
