Kershaw Needs Work problem.

I wanted to take it apart to clean it, but the flat hexagonal screw on the opposite side of the pivot screw turns with the pivot screw when I try to loosen it. Any ideas so I can take my knife apart and clean it? Thanks.

If it spins then you probable have some deformation of the handle. If there is a gap you could try using a flat head screw driver to stop the hex moving??
