I recently picked a Kershaw "needs work" at my local big box store for $37 and change. I was initially interested by the blade and handle shape and having experience with Kershaw quality in the past I couldn't pass it up. All I can say is wow! This little knife has impressed me. From the ergonomic grip to the VERY powerful assisted opening spring that pushes the blade open with a loud "thwack!". This is only my second experience with the 14C28N steel and I haven't had it long enough to talk about it ability to hold an edge. What I can say is that it takes an edge nicely without too much work. There were a couple things I had to deal with. First, I had to bend the pocket clip open a little as it was too tight and second, I had to loc-tight the pivot screw as it came loose. Other than those two small things I am very impressed with this knife and as of the last few weeks my benchmade 741 and zt 0200 have been sitting in a shoe box and not my pocket.

Absolutely. I take it you weren't as impressed with it as I was?

They arnt a bad knife. My dad and I both got one via our Snap-On rep. My dad abused the crap out of it. Even used after the tip bent and then snapped haha. The first two that we got had up and down play which always makes me nervous. But his new one he got is excellent in the lockup department so I guess its just hit or miss as always. I like the knife for carving.

I never had the need for any belly to a utility knife blade. I use this knife everyday at the warehouse. Cardboard and shrinkwrap are no match. Takes and keeps a mean edge. Two things, get yourself a backup spring or two, and watch that fragile point!

Allen R. Unless you're offering to give the knife to wroughndt, you're getting close to selling without the proper membership. If you want to sell here you'll need to upgrade your account to gold or higher to sell. Whatever the intent, best to take this business to email.
