I purchased a Kershaw Nerve a couple weeks ago, knowing that it was an imported, budget model and not knowing what to expect of the knife. I was blown away at the quality and how well put together and sturdy the knife is! No blade play, blade lines up perfectly, lock seats as it should and the G10 handles are a very nice touch on a $20 knife! After thinning the edge and polishing it up a bit, I'm impressed with the edge holding as well ( It would shave out of the box, I'm just picky ) I didn't do any scientific testing, but cutting cardboard and wood it seems to hold its edge better than bucks 420HC which is fine IMO for a $20-30 knife. This was my second Kershaw, first being a little silver spur years ago...but won't be my last! Think I'll try one of the US models next, Liking the looks of the Salvo at the moment
